Key Clubs are chartered and established in a high school or equivalent institution or within a community.
Founded in October 27, 1977, Bronx Science Key Club is one of the most distinguished Key Clubs not just in the New York District but internationally, having received one of the highest service accommodations given by Key Club International, the Diamond Level Club award. This distinction is entirely due to the dedication of our members who continually show a passion to serve their community.

Ask us how we feel and we'll tell you "WE FEEL GOOD, OH WE FEEL SO GOOD, AIIGHT?"
We say "AIIIGHT" at the end of our chant because we're from the Bronx :)
We have over 150 official Key Club International members and 200 total club members
Our club was founded in the same year women were allowed to join Key Club.
In the known past, we have won the distinguished award for every board officer positions except for Vice-President.
We combined the Bulletin Editor and Webmaster positions because they were very similar in the type of work they did.
Our past Kiwanis advisor, Richard Rosenthal has won the Key of Honor.
We were featured on the FreeRice blog in 2012 for an awareness video we made.
The President's Project was introduced in the 2015-2016 service year as an initiative to focus on specific issues affecting the world.
At one point, there were so many members in our club that four board officers had to lead their own meetings in separate rooms.
We are sponsored by Riverdale Kiwanis Club, along with Dewitt Clinton Key Club and Lehman High School Key Club.
Our members have been on the Division 11 board (some as the Lieutenant Governor) and on the New York District Board.
We have many Bronx Science Key Club alumni in Circle K clubs (the college equivalent of Key Club).
One of our past presidents, Josephine Lukito '08, even went on to become the Circle K International President.
